Shane Murphy was born in 1999 in Dublin. His fiction has won the Cuirt New Writing Prize and been published in Banshee. Currently, he is completing his MPhil in Modern and Contemporary Literary Studies at Trinity College Dublin and researching a work of non-fiction about the origins and impact of Irish missionaries in Africa.
