Latifa Akay is a writer from Belfast. Her writing has featured in a range of places including Wasafiri, PVA collections well I just kind of like it and Running Feet, Sharp Noses, The Good Journal, The Guardian, and Poetry Birmingham Literary Journal. Latifa has over ten years experience working with communities around social justice issues and on arts-based community projects in a range of settings ranging from schools to faith spaces. Before moving to London in 2012, she worked for two years as a journalist in Istanbul.
